As I type this, it is about 12:30 in the morning and I've just arrived home from visiting my parents in Los Angeles over the Thanksgiving weekend. Some random thoughts before I go to bed and collapse:
• My brother-in-law Rob (yes, my sister married a guy named Rob. It gets confusing sometimes) showed me this site,Despair.Com. If you've ever seen those posters in the lobbies of third-rate companies that have pictures of hawks soaring with the word "SUCCESS" or "TEAMWORK" under it, you'll get a kick out of this.
• Things I do not miss about Southern California: the traffic, the gas prices, the housing prices and Kevin & Bean on KROQ.
• Things I do miss about Southern California: In'n'Out Burgers, Mark & Brian on KLOS, My parents, my sisters, my brothers-in-law.
• Gotta get crackin' on the Christmas shopping. If anyone's interested, I want an iMac.
Okay, can't stay awake, gonna go sleepy bye.
