Hi folks,
Well, I know it's been a while, but here's a brand-spanking new blog post for you. It may not be funny, but at least it's not slit-your-wrists-while-listening-to-The-Smiths depressing like the last one.
My little girls are now 3 years old! My wife came across some video we shot of them when they were little, and it's amazing how much they've grown, both in terms of size and in terms of vocabulary.
The big news is that we are moving again! Kathy got a HUGE promotion at work, but it hinges on us moving to the site of the new project for a minimum of 2 years. Where, you might ask? How does LAS VEGAS sound to ya?! Yep, the family and I are movin' to Sin City and we are looking forward to it. The only drawback to this move is the heat, but Kathy and I both grew up in hot climates (Houston and Los Angeles, respectively) so I think we'll be able to deal with it. Besides, after the temperature reaches 102, hot is just HOT, it doesn't matter what the thermometer says.
I'll post a little more frequently from now on. I got a little burned out on blogging over this summer, mostly because I was feeling like I was trapped in another dead-end job, but with this new development, I'm much more hopeful. I also plan on posting cartoons again after we get resettled in Vegas, as I have realized that if I'm going to call myself a cartoonist, I need to sh*t or get off the pot. (pardon my French).
Talk to you all later!
