I don't have to go back to work until December 4th! Woo hoo!! Over a week off!! So, what am I doing on my first few days off ? Yesterday, I was putting the finishing touches on the 2003 holiday card for the Pee Doctors and listening to the Barenaked Ladies whilst I did so. I like that word: whilst. People should use it more.
Today, I went to the Kimbell Art Museum in Fort Worth to see the Painted Prayers Exhibit, getting lost on the way there in the process. Very impressive: would have gone even if I didn't have a paper on it due tomorrow in my 2-D Design class.
Finally got my car registered in the Lone Star State - didn't cost as much as I thought it would, so that was good news.
Tip to all hopeful cartoonists out there from your Unca Rob: If you need to apply white-out to a mistake you made inking, make sure to erase all your pencil lines first. I discovered recently (as in, five minutes ago) that White-out does not take well to having an eraser dragged across it. Smear city.
That's about it for today. I may not be posting very regualrly until after Dec 4th or so - Olivia and I are going out of town for Thanskgiving. So, let me say to you all, Happy Thanksgiving and I'll talk to you later!
