Hi folks,
The holidays are coming upon us a little too fast - they started playing Christmas music in my store on November 1st. I don't know that I'm in the Christmas spirit yet. What with all the crap I've had to deal with lately, it's no wonder. Still, I have some things to look forward to, chief among them seeing my parents for the first time since last May. Also, tomorrow Olivia and I are going to her parents' land in Hell-And-Gone, Texas. They bought this huge parcel of property in the middle of rural North Texas and are building their retirement home there. I keep telling them that it's the perfect location for a superhero headquarters and that they should at least have a batpole installed in the new house, but I don't think they're taking that suggestion seriously.
I am happy about one more thing: I don't have to work tomorrow!!! Nyah nyah nyah, fellow co-workers! I finally got a Saturday off in I don't know how long and I plan to enjoy it with my in-laws, watching my father-in-law show me where the kitchen will go once the house is built. Should be entertaining.
Getting a little sleepy now - it's late as I write this. Before I go, a shout out to My Aunt and Cousin in Carson City - you know who you are! Love you guys. :)
Take care,
~Rob
