I'm surrounded by sick people

It seems that a good number of the people I know are sick. My uncle - well, I've already gone into that in previous posts. No news there, though. My parents are recovering from acute food poisoning and my wife is battling acute bronchitis (everything seems to be acute lately). So far, I've dodged the bullet.

On happier news, talked to my best friend the other day and found out that he'll be around when I go to visit my folks during Thanksgiving weekend. Also, we talked about our plans to go to Vegas in February. To quote Vince Vaughn, "Vegas, baby, Vegas!"
