Inaugural entry

Hi. My name is Rob Chambers and I'm a struggling cartoonist currently living in Dallas, Texas. If you've ever come to this site before, you've no doubt seen a sign on it that reads "Update coming soon" or words to that effect. Well, this is the update, such as it is. True, no new cartoons are posted on here, although I hope to have the links for my past work up and running soon (and I do mean SOON), I decided that I needed to keep a running commentary going, to practice my writing skills if nothing else.

What do I hope to do with this weblog? Well, the usual: complain, praise, expound and in general blather on about my life. If you like self-deprecating humor laced with slice-of-life stories, you've come to the right place. Kick off your shoes, grab me a beer and stay a while.
