Okay, first hurdle met.... now what?

Okay, now that I've got this blog up and running, let me tell you a bit about myself. First off, I am in no way related to any of the following people:
* Chris Chambers (basketball player)
* Marilyn Chambers (aging porn star)
* Robert E. Chambers Jr. (also known as the Preppie Murderer, who recently got out of prison for killing Jennifer Levin in Central Park in the late 80s)

Secondly, I've been drawing cartoons since I was 5 years old and I have a degree in illustration from California State University Northridge, which is a place that to this day I consider the Denny's of higher education.

Third, I did editorial cartoons for a long time for a very small newspaper in Southern California called The Signal which had no problem printing my cartoons on their editiorials page as long as I didn't expect to get paid. All this gave me was the lasting enmity of the Promise Keepers (long story) and a sour taste in my mouth about editorial cartooning. Currently, I work for Barnes & Noble as a lowly bookseller, where I am quietly collecting stories and making observations for a new comic strip set in the customer service industry called "Nametags".

That oughta do it for now. More about me later!

Take care,
~Rob
