Pretty Freakin' Cool

Been a little while, so here are a few morsels to tide you over until I put up a big blog posting:
1) The twins are doing just fine. We now know (with 98% certainty) that they are IDENTICAL GIRLS. Names have been decided on, but will be a surprise for our families. For now, Olivia hit upon the nicknames "Cricket" and "Ladybug". Which is kind of cute and touching, since "Cricket" is what my grandfather used to call my sister.
2) Olivia and I are moving.... a grand total of about 600 feet. We're staying in the same apartment complex, just moving from a second floor apartment with loft to a ground floor two bedroom. A little smaller, but it's cheaper rent, and will be cheaper to heat/cool since we won't a huge freakin' cathedral ceiling to worry about. That, and I am not toting twins (and their stuff) or a very pregnant wife up and down stairs.
3) Had a brush with Internet fame. Wil Wheaton (see link in the Links listing to the left of this entry) just released a collection of stories called Dancing Barefoot. I chose DB as my "Staff Recommendation" for the month of April and decided to email Wil and let him know that, in my own meager way, I've got his back. I received the following in my inbox the next day:
Hey Rob,
Thank you so much!! Employee recommendations are a HUGE boost, not only to sales, but to my book's legitimacy and visibility.
I am deeply grateful that you helped me out.
Sincerely,
Wil

Pretty cool, huh? Rock on, Wil.

Take care,
~Rob
