Lots and lots of "ugh."

Hi gang,
There has been this nasty cold that has been bouncing around my house lately and boy howdy did it hit me smack upside the head yesterday. I spent almost all of yesterday in bed, including when I got a phone call from a place I had turned in my resume to and I attempted to sound alert and composed and the epitome of the ideal potential employee. Don't think I did so great, there. Oh well.
I had an interview today for a customer service position at a security alarm company. I think I did OK, but I won't find out until sometime next week if I'm hired or not.
I'm sure I'm not the first person to say this, but unemployment sucks. It seems like it doesn't matter what I do, I can't find a job. I send out resume after resume and it just seems like I'm flinging them into this black hole, never to be seen again.
