Help a Sister Out

In my time living in Texas, I have made only a few friends. I am like that, in that I do not make friends quickly or easily, but once I do they are firm and fast.
One of these friends is a woman named Shanna Swendson, a talented writer whose new book, "Enchanted Inc." is due to be released this weekend.
It is, by Shanna's own admission, a chick lit book, but one with an interesting twist: think Bridget Jones Diary meets Harry Potter.
I encourage everybody to go out and buy a copy and help a sister out, and by doing so, you can also help a brother out.
You see, I created several graphics for Shanna's new website. Not the web site put out by the publishing company, but her own personal website. The fee for this service? Nothing. Well, almost nothing. I have secured the following from Ms. Swendson: to have a link posted on her website to my website, hopefully to drum up some freelance business from other writers who have looked at her site. Also, to provide one meal for my wife and myself on a weekend of our mutual choosing.
Essentially, come over to our house and have dinner with us and enjoy each other's company. Heck, at this point, so I can enjoy some adult conversation, as my wife and I are exhausting all our conversational energy on asking our girls if they have had a wet or if they are good girls (They always do and they always are, in that order). Not a bad arrangement.
Then again, that's what you do for friends, you help them out. Help Shanna and yourself by checking out her book here.
That's all I have for today. Potential good news next Monday - stay tuned.

Take care,
~Rob
